Agroecology Education Farm 2018

Arthur hard at work harvesting watermelon!

It has been a big year at the farm! Alison Reeves, the farm manager, welcomed her daughter Iris into the world in January. With such a sweet addition, the farm was quiet over the spring and jumped right into summer. Arthur Vallois joined the farm as the CEFS Agroecology Farm Apprentice in April. We are so grateful for his hard work, cheerfulness, and eye for detail at the farm; and even more excited that he will continue working until next September.

The farm has had three great student workers- Cole Lee, Will Voelker, and Jesse Tysinger. The three have contributed hugely and we

can't wait to share their projects for 2019. We grew tons of delicious veggies over the summer and hosted a variety of educational events. The farm could not run without the help of so many volunteers and donations from the community. Thank you all, we appreciate everything!

We are in the fun planning stages for 2019! If there is a class you want to see at the farm, or workshop you want to teach, let us know. Otherwise, stay tuned for a schedule of events coming soon!
